Electromagnetic Shielding: The Feature Most Scales Skip

Brew near an induction appliance, use a magnetic portafilter, or work on a metal surface — and you already know what unstable readings look like. The Basic 3 integrates an electromagnetic shield that deflects interference from exactly these sources, delivering readings that hold steady through every condition your setup throws at it. Stable readings aren’t a nice-to-have. They’re the whole point.

Three Modes. Every Brew Style.

Regular, Pour-Over, and Espresso — switch between them instantly with the multifunction slider, no menu required. In Espresso mode, the scale auto-tares when your cup lands and begins tracking weight and time from the first drop. In Pour-Over mode, real-time flow rate feedback shows you your technique in motion. Precision in Less Space

At 140 × 120 × 20mm and 300g, the Basic 3 is 25% lighter and 35% more compact than its predecessor — yet covers a 168cm² surface area that handles espresso cups, full carafes, and everything between across a 0.2–2000g load range. A custom load cell holds accuracy at ±0.1g up to 500g. The wrap-around silicone mat grips the chassis edge to edge, doubles as a contoured portafilter rest on the reverse, and channels spills safely away. IPX3 water resistance takes care of the rest.

24-Hour Battery. USB-C. No Interruptions.

The 1600mAh battery delivers up to 24 hours of continuous screen-on time — roughly 280 five-minute pour-overs per charge. USB-C brings it back to full in 3.5 hours. Dead batteries will not be ending your brew sessions.
